Gluco-Carry Wrist Pouch

The Gluco-Carry wrist pouch is made of neoprene (wetsuit material). The velcro strip on the edge of the pouch can be pulled open and inside is a clear, re-sealable ALOKSAK® bag normally used by the military, which can hold up to eight glucose tablets. The ALOKSAK® bag is certified watertight to 60 metres (200 feet) and has been tested and approved by the US Navy NEDU (Navy Experimental Dive Unit). Perfect for swimming and on the beach when carrying glucose is difficult and prone to getting wet. It can also be used on dry land, for example in the gym.

FRIO Cooling Wallet - for insulin pens, cartridges & vials

When you are travelling to a hot country, or even just out and about during a hot British summer, the FRIO wallets are ideal for keeping insulin cool. If you normally don't bother trying to keep your insulin cool or maybe just use a plastic bag filled with ice, then you should try a FRIO wallet to prevent your insulin from being ruined. You let the wallet soak in cold tap water for about ten minutes and the crystals inside it absorb the water and the wallet expands. The water can stay absorbed for several days and this is all that is needed to keep your insulin pens, cartridges and vials nice and cool. If you don't have an air conditioned room or a fridge then your insulin can quickly rise to a temperature above 30°C, which will ruin it. Each FRIO wallet consists of an inner wallet (which contains the crystals) and a durable outer wallet, which protects the inner wallet.
